Richglen’s continued growth in the mining maintenance field has led to an opportunity for an engineer to join our project management team. As a member of the team you will be mentored and coached by our experienced project management leads with over 85 years exposure combined within the industry. Richglen Maintenance Services perform works on a variety of mining plants and machinery such as Draglines, Electrical Rope Shovels, Coal Processing Plants and Conveyor systems – there is always something different in the pipeline.
What do you have to gain?
Whilst working with Richglen you will travel throughout the Bowen Basin, working on a variety of different sites and projects. All while having your travel, accommodation and meals on site paid for! Being a private company, we are given the opportunities to work on a diversity of makes and models of machinery, no two projects will be the same. In addition to being well paid, you will also gain valuable knowledge and skills unavailable to many others in your position. During your time on site and in the office, you will meet hundreds of new people within various roles from tradespeople to upper mine management and form meaningful and long-term connections. What do I need to give?
Before starting with us you should know what we as a company will require from you. We want you to have a successful career as much as you do, so for you to get the most out of this we are looking for you to be graduated as an engineer. Being a valuable team member means you will need to have the ability to work unsupervised with a “can do” attitude while remaining conducive to feedback. Be willing to work a blend of in office and on site hours as required. Be proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Project. We would like to see you bring an innovative and dynamic approach towards new ideas and methodologies. Possess a proactive commitment towards safety and, empathise with and prioritise the client and Richglen’s business philosophies ahead of others.
CO-OP PLACEMENTS
There are 2 positions vacant for Co-op placements. Due to ongoing growth, Richglen Maintenance Services have an opportunity for employment of a Co-Op Mechanical Engineering student to assist in delivering projects across the Bowen Basin. As a Co-Op Project Engineer within our business you will be providing support to estimating, planning, and management of project activities as well as the assistance with day to day operations of the business. We would be looking to place one or two students with our shutdown engineers and project control and scheduling teams. You could also be asked from time to time to get physically involved in the execution of some of our works which would give additional exposure to mechanical and structural operating systems. To have a successful and rewarding placement you will need to demonstrate:
- Self motivated and willing to learn
- Innovative and dynamic approach towards new ideas
- Proficient in MS excel, MS Word and MS Project
- A proactive commitment towards safety
- Ability to work unsupervised with a “can do” attitude
- Willing to work a blend of in office and on site as required
